The 'Lane Cove Sustainable Tree' was a collaboration in 2014 between Gallery Lane Cove, Lane Cove Mens Shed, and Mark Swartz to create a sustainable the sculpture for permanent outdoor display. The 'tree' construction was orchestrated through a series of workshops at the Lane Cove Mens shed in which participants designed and cut their own 'leaves' out of recycled fence palings. I'd like to thank everyone who was involved, expecially Gallery Lane Cove for all their support and the Mens shed for so generously sharing their workshop and experience.
